Zhepitoli Zhimomi Roughton is from Nagaland in Northeast India. She received a Bachelor of Theology degree from Calcutta Bible College in 1990. John & Zhepi were married in 1991 and have three children: Victoria, “Little”John, and Ryan.

John Roughton was born and raised in Virginia Beach, Virginia, the son of a successful businessman. He received a B.A. from Old Dominion University in 1985 and graduated from Rhema Bible Training Center, Oklahoma in 1987. He has preached and taught the Word of God in such places as: England, Haiti, Hungary, India, Japan, and Nepal.

In 1994 John & Zhepi moved to Dimapur, Nagaland and founded Spirit of Faith Church. In 2006 they began Spirit of Faith Bible School. They have helped start three other churches in the area. They print a monthly teaching newsletter which is circulated throughout India. They have a television ministry and they produce audio & video teaching materials. They hold crusades and seminars throughout the region.
